The story of Silk Road Academy began in September 2022 in Istanbul, when we began teaching two Yale University PhD students at Üskğdar, eastern side of Istanbul, Turkey. This experience demonstrated that grounding the study of Eastern Languages in the connections to students’ own languages forms the strongest foundation for academic mastery. Since then, Silk Road Academy has grown into the world’s leading hub for advanced language training, consultation, and mentorship. At Silk Road Academy, we make rich, historic Eastern Languages accessible to learners of all levels.
